Flakes Vegetable Biryani
Health Sutra Bajra Flakes -2 cups*
Vegetables 3⁄4 cup chopped (Potato, Carrot, Beans, Cauliflower, Peas)
Green Chilies 3
Onion 1 small chopped
Mint leaves 1 handful
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons chopped
Garam masala / Biryani masala 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1 pinch
Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Oil as needed
Shah Jeera 1⁄2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel, add shah jeera,
ginger garlic paste, chilies and fry for 1 minute.
Add onion and sauté till they turn light brown
Add mint leaves, vegetables, turmeric powder and salt. Stir well, place lid and cook till the vegetables are cooked.
Add Health Sutra flakes, sprinkle 1⁄4 cup water, cover the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
1 cup = 240ml
Note: You can replace Bajra flakes with any other variety of Health Sutra Millet flakes
