Flakes Payasam

Ingredients

Health Sutra Jowar Flakes -1 cup*
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Milk – 3 cups
Jaggery or sugar – 1⁄2cup
Green cardamom powder – 1⁄2 tbsp
Nuts of your choice 10
Raisins – 6
Saffron strands 2 (optional)

Recipe

Heat ghee in a non-stick cooking pan at low to medium flame, roast nuts and raisins and keep aside.
To the same pan, add milk and jaggery/sugar and boil for 5 minutes while mixing well.
After jaggery melts completely, add Health Sutra Millet flakes and boil for 2 minutes.
Add the roasted nuts, raisins and cardamom powder. Mix and immediately turn-off heat.
Delicious Flakes Payasam is ready.

1 cup = 240ml
Note: You can replace Jowar flakes with any other variety of Health Sutra Millet flakes

Health Sutra Ragi Flakes -1 cup*
Ghee – 4 tbsp
Powdered Jaggery 3⁄4 cup
Desiccated coconut 2 Tbsp
Elaichi powder – 1⁄2 tbsp
Cashew/Almond 8 chopped or grated
Raisins – 6

Ingredients

Recipe

Heat ghee in a pan at low flame, roast chopped cashews and raisins and keep it aside.
In the same pan, roast Health Sutra Millet flakes and desiccated coconut on low flame for 3-4 minutes and then add powdered jaggery and Elaichi to it and mix well.
Mix all ingredients well and make balls while it’s still hot. If the mixture is dry, heat some ghee and add to it.
Flakes laddu is ready.

Ingredients

Health Sutra Jowar Flakes -1 cup*
Curd 1 cup
Milk 1⁄4 to 1/2 cup
Ginger 1 teaspoon grated
Green/Red Chilies 4
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Jeera 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves 10
Oil 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves to garnish
Pomegranate seeds to garnish (optional)
Onion 1 small

Recipe

Heat oil in a seasoning pan at low to medium flame, add mustard seeds, jeera, chilies, ginger and curry leaves. Sauté till this seasoning sizzles and then turn off flame. Cool to room temperature
In a bowl, add Health Sutra Millet flakes, curd, milk, seasoning and salt. Mix well (If you like the flakes to be more soft, cook flakes in 1⁄4 cup water on low flame for 3-4 minutes. Let it cool and then add curd, milk, seasoning and salt)
Garnish with coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds Serve flakes curd rice with pickle

Flakes Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients

Health Sutra Bajra Flakes -2 cups*
Vegetables 3⁄4 cup chopped (Potato, Carrot, Beans, Cauliflower, Peas)
Green Chilies 3
Onion 1 small chopped
Mint leaves 1 handful
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons chopped
Garam masala / Biryani masala 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1 pinch
Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Oil as needed
Shah Jeera 1⁄2 teaspoon
Salt to taste

Recipe

Heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel, add shah jeera, ginger garlic paste, chilies and fry for 1 minute. Add onion and sauté till they turn light brown
Add mint leaves, vegetables, turmeric powder and salt. Stir well, place lid and cook till the vegetables are cooked.
Add Health Sutra flakes, sprinkle 1⁄4 cup water, cover the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot

Ingredients

Health Sutra Jowar Flakes 1⁄2 cup
Warm water 1⁄2 cup
Mango 1 (chopped)
Low fat Yogurt 1 cup
Water 1⁄2 to 1 cup
Honey/ Palm sugar as needed
Cardamom powder 1 pinch
Ice cubes as needed

Recipe

Soak Health Sutra Millet Flakes in warm water for 2-3 min and mix
Add mango chunks and soaked flakes to a blender and blend till it becomes smooth
Add yogurt, cardamom powder, palm sugar and 1⁄2 cup water. If using ice cubes, add now. Blend till mixed well
Pour into a glass and serve immediately

Note: You can replace Jowar flakes with any other variety of Health Sutra Millet flakes. Mango can be replaced by Banana/Strawberry/Sapota
