Urad dal – 1 cup*
Health Sutra Jowar/Multimillet Idly Rawa -3 cups*
Salt-As per taste
Ghee/Oil as required
Wash and cut brinjal into 1inch long pieces and put them into salt
water to avoid discoloration. Soak tamarind in water.
Heat 2 table spoons of oil/ghee in a pan at low ame and add mustard seeds, onion and curry leaves and sauté till onions into golden brown color.
Add tomatoes and brinjal and fry for 1 min. Add turmeric powder, salt and vangi bhath powder and mix. Cook for 2-3 min.
Squeeze and extract juice from tamarind. Add tamarind juice and water to the pan and bring to boil.
to it, slowly add 1 cup of Health Sutra Millet Upma rawa while mixing to avoid lumps.
Turn to low ame with lid on and cook it for 15-18 minutes. Mix in between while cooking and nally garnish with coriander.
Serve this delicious Vangi Bhath hot
